The Galactic Championship is almost here! Whether you are attending for just one day, staying the whole time, or are treating yourself to Prestige VIP treatment, here’s some useful tips and information to make sure you have the best time possible. Before the Event

  • Get your badges in advance starting on Thursday, July 22nd from 2PM - 8PM to ensure you can get into the show when you want. When you pick up your badge early, receive a special promo card while supplies last! Once through security (Hall B), you will enter the registration queues (Prestige VIP has their own line) to pick up your badges. You should have your ID and QR code ready before you get to a desk.
  • Review the schedule and map ahead of time to plan out all your activities. Decide what is top priority (like your favorite panel or the Galactic Report) and what you can do as time allows (like photo ops)!
  • No queuing outside of the Halls prior to 2 PM on Thursday and 7 AM on event days.

Getting into the Event

  • Security will be onsite, and attendees will need to be checked upon entry to the event. There will be metal detectors as well as bag checks. If you plan on dressing in costume, any props that you bring may be searched as well. Props will be checked just inside past security.   • On event days, once you’re through security, there will be two options: enter the registration lines to pick up your badge, or enter the "corrals," with badge in-hand, to wait for the hall to open. Prestige VIPs and players in the main tournament have their own corrals and will be released into the space at 8 AM every day. General attendees will be released into the halls at 9 AM each day.
  • There will be no Stuff Check this year. Check with your hotel ahead of time, as many offer complimentary baggage storage!
  • Please ensure that your badge is worn and visible at all times. If your badge is lost, stolen, or forgotten, you will need to purchase a replacement.

At the Event

  • Take breaks in the chill zone, where we'll have screens to watch the live broadcast.
  • Refer to your badge for hall hours:
    • Registration: Thursday 2 PM – 8 PM, Friday 7 AM – 6 PM, Saturday and Sunday 8 AM – 4 PM
    • CONNECT Space: Friday, Saturday, and Sunday 9 AM – 6 PM
    • COLLECT Space: Friday, Saturday, and Sunday 9 AM* – 6 PM
    • COMPETE Space: Friday, Saturday, and Sunday open at 9 AM*
    • *Prestige VIP and players get 1 hour early access to the COLLECT and COMPETE spaces.
  • Take note of panel times to ensure you have enough time for shopping in the COLLECT space! Panels take place daily: Friday 1pm – 5pm, Saturday 11am-1pm and 2pm-5pm, Sunday 10am-1pm
  • The Galactic Report takes place on Saturday at 1:30 PM. You don’t want to miss this!
  • Regarding prize items, we will be limiting the Showcase prize cards to one of each card per person to ensure that everyone gets a chance to earn one!
  • Lines for panels start early! But not to worry, we will have staff monitoring the space and they will manage creating any lines as they are needed.
  • Wi-Fi information will be provided on-site and as we get closer to the event.
